EVENTS: (High School athletes CAN'T participate in youth meets)
3 events per athlete (including relays and field events).
AWARDS:
*Pee Wees - Non-competitive - No Times, ALL receive ribbons
Top 3 in each age category will receive ribbons at the Developmental Meets.
At the Invitational top 3 in each event will receive medals.
FACILITIES:
The 400m track is urethane; this includes the runways for the long jump.
The Turbo Javelin event will take place on the grass Javelin runway
MISCELLANEOUS:
The Bloomfield High School will provide a concession stand
MEET RULES:
Information packets will be available to you when you arrive
- Field events will begin 30 minutes prior to track events.
- To expedite the finishline, competitor's bib numbers will be provided to be used in all meets. Replacement bib # will be provided at a $5 charge.
- Age groups are based on birth years. DO NOT enter your child in a younger age group
- Times will determine place, regardless of heat.
- 1/8 spikes will be allowed
- relay teams should have matching uniforms.
- Absolutely no Frisbees, footballs, soccer balls, etc.
- Unsportsmanlike conduct will NOT be tolerated from competitors, coaches, parents, or volunteers. It may result in removal from the meet
- No radios or boom boxes
- Absolutely no coaches, parents or non-competing athletes on the field or track during Invitational.
- Coaches pick up ribbons or medals for your team. Parent should pick up unattached athletes’ ribbons or medals.
